This event will be open house style with pancakes, maple syrup, sausage, fruits, and beverages (including vegan and gluten-free options). 

VLAWMO volunteers are welcomed to join Tamarack for this celebration of volunteering and local environmental stewardship. Staff will attend from 5-6:30 to thank volunteers in person for their continued stewardship.

Event logistics:

  • We will meet at the County Road F entrance of Vadnais-Sucker Lake Park, across from Fairway Collision & Automotive. 
  • Please register in advance so we can ensure we have adequate materials for volunteers. Safety vests, gloves, and trash pickers will be available while supplies last. Volunteers can anticipate walking through brush, and depending on weather, the area may be damp - please dress accordingly. 
  • All participants will need to complete a liability form, which VLAWMO staff will have available onsite. 
  • Spread the word - bring a neighbor or friend!

  • Time to meet with landscape designers and Garden Education Volunteers of Ramsey County to discuss your project ideas and plans
  • Access to helpful project resources
  • An overview of local grant funding opportunities that can support these projects

Registration is $15 per participant or free for residents of VLAWMO or Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District.
