Join local Minnesota Water Stewards Josie and Caden for an event all about everyday actions that help keep water clean. This informal event will include time for heading out to clean neighborhood storm drains.

This interactive workshop will help participants understand the impacts of chloride on infrastructure and water resources. It will equip participants with specific action steps and resources to reduce salt pollution in their communities. 

The recommended audience for this workshop includes city council members, board members of watershed organizations or housing associations, and other community decision-makers who are not directly involved in road salt use but who could benefit from learning about smart salting practices. 

This workshop is free, but registration is required. Learn more and sign up on the MPCA's event page. 

This training is hosted by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Chloride Reduction Program and the Metro Watershed Partners. Funding comes from the Clean Water Fund and the Minnesota GreenCorps program.
