Staff from VLAWMO and RCSWCD will be hosting a picnic with a recap on their success stories from over the years. Join us for a fun and casual evening celebrating five decades of conservation in the Northeast Metro! 

Activities include: 

• Retirement recognition for Stephanie McNamara (VLAWMO admin) 3:30 
• Mini tours of restoration efforts in the park (2) 4:15-5:30
• Acknowledgement and thanks to VLAWMO and County Board leadership and commissioners
• Family-friendly macroinvertebrates (water bugs) science activity
  
• Looking back on the decades of conservation efforts
  
• Lawn games such as yard Jenga and Kubb
• Chat with staff
• Sandwiches and refreshments
