Lambert Creek Spring Maintenance

As part of its Ditch Authority role on Lambert Creek/Ditch 14, VLAWMO is sponsoring debris removal of downed trees and woody debris within the Creek as part of normal maintenance. This maintenance keeps the Creek functioning efficiently. VLAWMO has hired the Institutional Community Work Crew (ICWC) to perform the maintenance work, and they have an excellent track record with communities in and around VLAWMO, including White Bear Township and Shoreview.

The work will commence this spring as soon as the Creek has fully thawed to allow for debris removal that is buried in the Creek's waters and within its right of way. All of this work will be occurring within the City of Vadnais Heights, to the east of the Stockdale Drive development downstream to near the entrance of East Vadnais Lake (see map).

The work is expected to be completed within several days and will take place on the weekends. VLAWMO staff will be present during the work.
