Amelia Lake

Amelia Lake is a largely secluded lake and is one of the outermost waterbodies in the VLAWMO watershed. As a "headwaters," it receives less impact from upstream sources than other downstream waterbodies. Amelia inflows from an agricultural drainage ditch on its north side and outflows to Wilkinson Lake, which continues through Deep, Pleasant, Sucker, and eventually East Vadnais Lake. The flow between Amelia and Wilkinson Lakes is one of the only remaining non-ditched streams in the VLAWMO watershed.
