Gem Lake Sustainable Lake Management Report

An updated Sustainable Lake Management Report (SLMR) is now available for Gem Lake.

SLMRs are documents that guide planning and budgeting for future projects and support the formation of partnerships between VLAWMO and Cities, Townships, and various public and private entities.

The report also serves as a record for past efforts conducted at Gem Lake, ranging from aquatic vegetation surveys to fish surveys plus water quality trends and historical photos.

Gem Lake was delisted from the State Impaired Waterbodies list in 2018. VLAWMO looks forward to working with partners, residents, and affiliates to continue this exciting water quality success story.
