Vadnais-Sucker Park Restoration

A restoration effort has begun in a portion of the Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park. 45 acres of wetland and forest habitat will be benefitting from invasive species removal this winter and into spring, followed by re-introduction of native plant species.

Construction equipment may be present and cause temporary trail closures in the park north of County Road F and West of the paved walking trail. VLAWMO is partnering with Great River Greening, the Saint Paul Regional Water Services, and Ramsey County Parks on this grant-funded effort.
