Wildlife Monitoring Reports

VLAWMO is finding innovative ways to study ecosystem health and water quality in the watershed. One way of doing that is by studying organisms living in and around aquatic habitats. Over the past year, VLAWMO has been conducting surveys of frog and toad calls in wetlands and using remote-cameras to focus on wetland wildlife and areas adjacent to waterways. To see what we've learned so far, check out the monitoring reports that are newly available. These studies will continue into 2020, expanding our information and revealing possible trends from year to year.
